About Me

I grew up on the Northwest side of Chicago until I made Virginia Beach my home in 1995.  I am a mother of two, Hannah and Jacob and have been married to my husband, Bruce since 1998.  I was educated and worked as an expanded duty lead Dental Assistant for over 25 years.  Once my children began playing travel baseball and participating in competitive dance, I decided to focus on kids and give back to my community by doing volunteer work.  

 I was on the Board of Directors at Lynnhaven Baseball for 6 years, starting as the Fundraising Director, then as Vice-President and President for two years.  I saw that league grow from a little over 100 participants to more than 400 participants a year.  I am also actively involved in my neighborhood civic league.  I am the Co-Chair for the Dredge Committee and have recently been nominated for an At-Large board position.

Late in 2018 we suddenly found ourselves as empty nesters with my daughter attending college at the University of South Carolina and my son making the bold move to attend Miller School in Charlottesville for high school while pursuing his dream of playing baseball in college.  I made the decision to reinvent myself and study to become a Real Estate Salesperson.  While I may be new to the business of real estate, I am not new to real estate.  My husband and I have bought and sold properties for the last 20 years and continue to maintain several rental properties.  I enjoy the thrill of the hunt and the reward when it all comes together.  I would like to do that for you!  

My skills as a dental assistant, comforting and guiding patients through difficult treatment plans to a desired outcome was what I did best, and I believe these skills will help me in my new career path, expertly helping clients through the transaction of buying or selling property.  I am a committed, hardworking, detail oriented, dedicated professional having worked in ONLY two dental offices over my entire 25-year career, here in Virginia Beach I worked for Drs.
